An immediate, clear incentive for Estée Lauder users to increase their average order value
To eliminate user guesswork, I designed a simple, high-visibility progress bar within the cart drawer. It gives users instant clarity on how much more they need to spend to qualify for free delivery, reducing friction and creating a more motivating, goal-oriented checkout experience. Initially launched as an A/B test, the component delivered a positive increase in average order value and an uplift in conversion rate versus the control. The results validated the approach and led to the progress bar being earmarked for adoption across multiple brands, with potential to extend the same logic to highlight eligibility for offers and spend-based promotions.
